My GSD died today at the age of 11. He had hip dysplasia and now died suddenly – he possibly had other illnesses we didn’t know of.
This vid reminds me of him when he was young, strong and really beautiful.
After hours of grief I found this video and really made me cry. And this is what I need now. Thanks a lot:)

shut up. You get dogs from a breeder not from a bloody shelter where hip dysplasia affects all of the dogs. Keep your opinions to your fucken self.

a husky, golden retriever, or labrador retriever.
Look at a Rescue organization near you, for heaven’s sake?
They will help you with your questions, no sales pressure, and will be as interested in getting you the right partner as you are.
There are Breed-Specific Rescues, or general ones with a variety of dogs who need loving homes. You might not have the “puppy months” you would by buying from a breeder, but you will be making a HUGE difference in the life of the dog!
I don’t know about German Shepherds for you then. I can only speak for my own but she was very very wary of strangers. I have a friend with a shepherd which was the same – they don’t give their trust easily (although they trust their owners 1000000%). This makes them very good guard dogs / protectors though.

Well for one….german sheperd. Also you could try a vizsla, but they are very hyper, but they are great dog. Love people, water, snow, and pizza lol. I own a vizsla now and have had a german sheperd. Our vizsla actually smiles when she greets us and loves their owners. Either breed would be a good dog.
can anyone help me to give me an answer on what dog is the right one for me? I want a loving, stranger tolerant & friendly, but very athletic dog that likes running in forests and maybe in snow, would be great if someone could give some advise!

my german sherped have 75% speed 94 % armor good listen and he killer name muse and of course strength is 104 %
they are only german german shepherds…i guess you americans consider italian or chinese food for instance to be “american” too so iam not very suprised by your comment
