After doing some research on the web. I came across Mr. Randy Hare. One of the best GS dog trainers nation wide.
If you google search his name you will see pages of hits about the training he offers.
I have two German inported shepherds, prior to professional training these two were like two five year old kids in dire need of riddelin.
please please help im gonna get a german shepherd puppy soo how can i train him to bite like this and whole protection thing please answer thanks i really appreciate it

i had a German Shepherd it was the best dog ever his name was called bourbon we named him that because my dad spilt a can of bourbon and he licked it up =) lol and there verry frendly dogs and good with your kids great family dog

At a year old he’s VERY capable of knowing to NOT jump on you. He shouldn’t even be TRYING to do that. GSDs are very intelligent and need rules and boundaries like that to keep them focused. They need discipline…it helps keep them sane.
I would agree with charity2000 and say go through a training class with him. He’ll love you even more for it. (:

yeah i so agree i love rotties i ahve a rotty and i had a black german shephard she climber the fence cause of a thunderstorm when i was trying to call her in i didnt see her.
Depends on how you raise and train them. They can be very aggressive too. I have a 6 month old one that’s pretty sweet natured but even she gets her times where she wants to start trying to bite and lunge but that’s slowly starting to disappear. it’s like she’s testing her grounds to see how far she can go.

nononono, he tries to, that is what i meant.. and he only does that sometimes when hes playful, and he is a puppy.. a BIG puppy.. like 1 year old. And when i command him stuff, he always do what i say
Maybe you should go to a training class. I would never allow my GSD to throw me down. If I want to lay on the ground and play that is one thing but he may never decided to take me down on his own, I feel that that shows a lack of respect for you as the owner.
i’ve raised my german shepherd =) sometimes he jumps up and throw me down at the ground xD
i have a german shepard and its sooooo protective but yet soo frienddly best family dog to have.

german shepard and rockwilers are best protection dogs they are fast and fierce if you train them like that. They can also be the softest dogs that is ideal for families.
