Guard dog Attack training German Shepherd/Malinois k9-1.com

Personal protection attack dog training video of a 7 month old German Shepherd/ Belgian Malinois mix puppy. Although this dog isn't old enough to do real guard dog work it is being prepared to do real protection work... sort of like sending a child to karate class. He will finish guard dog training at about 18 months old. Quality protection dog training takes patience, respect, and knowledge. If a dog is trained with yelling and intimidation...how do you expect them to do protection work on ...

I see a lot of people bagging on this video , but for a 7 month old to have that much poise and drive is pretty astounding. You can see the whole time that dog wanted to kick that guys *** , but didnt react until instructed…Kudos

Dont worry dogs have a less complex mentality than humans, like a very young child, it doesn’t really care what is going on provided it is kept happy

In a way it must be quite releaving to have a more simple like and mentality

I think God prefers to use plagues and pestilence.. .
In seriousness, I wouldn’t ask questions like that on Youtube. Get a book on Schutzhund, and when you make the commitment to train a dog for protection you are making a very serious and risky decision. Not to be taken lightly.

i think these dogs are not easy to handle, you really have to care and train with a german sheperd, these dogs have a personality and are aware to learn. not a dog for beginners!!

all i got to say your dog is practically just protecting you you can’t stop a dog from protecting it’s owner when it’s determined to save him i suggest you just wrestle at your friends house

it is her instinct to protect you, in her mind your friend is trying to harm you, don’t lock her up just practice somewhere else

Dimerstein, police K-9’s have a much higher intensity than most protection dogs. Factor in some real street bites and the call off simply doesn’t happen. Reality in the field in much, much, different. This dog here is great though. Personal protection and police K-9 are two different levels of dog. Think college great and professional elite. Just a big difference.

Finally some reality based training. It’s about time someone posted something other than Schutzhund, KNPV, and Ring Sport and called it a working dog. Great training and it’s good to see people who live in reality training dogs.
