Encouraging food aggression is dangerous and irresponsible. Cute while they are pups, now imagine an 80 pound dog with the behavior you have encouraged and a child that comes near…not nearly as funny or cute.

you need to learn a bit about raising pups. At that age they need to be fed in something much larger or individual dishes. I **** to see you encouraging young pups to fight over food. Supposing it continues which it probably will. Food aggression is not funny and can turn into people aggression protecting food. Lots of kids get bitten iike this.
feed em outta the same bowl and hope they dont fight?! Should do wonders for their training and mindfulness once they get older…

The pup has a dominance problem when it comes to food..trying to be leader. the problem should be taken care of ASAP before reoccuring problems exist over time.

I have three full grown Shepherds, and when they get into a fight, it sounds like someone is dying (they’re highly dramatic though). Most of the time it’s our subordinate male overstepping his place with the alpha male and female (we don’t bred them)
As long as you make it clear that YOU are the alpha of them all, scraps like this should be fine.
